Booking & Payment

All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.

• We enforce a strict no-cancellation, no-refund policy due to our limited availability.

• Guests may request one complimentary date change if done at least 5 days before the original check-in date.

• Rescheduled bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• If booking on behalf of another guest, please ensure they receive all relevant check-in and policy details.


About the Property

Captain’s Castle is a unique and historic inn.

Please note:

• The property is not wheelchair accessible.

• Uneven surfaces and staircases are present throughout.

• Those with mobility concerns or seniors may find navigation challenging.  

We’re happy to answer questions about accommodations before booking!

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Check-out: 11:00 AM sharp

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request.

Note: Late departures without prior approval will incur a full night’s room charge.


Breakfast

• We currently do not offer daily breakfast, but we’re happy to recommend local favorites.

• Weekend dinners may be available upon request for an additional fee.


Alcohol Policy

We welcome the responsible enjoyment of alcoholic beverages.  However:

• Excessive intoxication or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.

• Any damage caused will result in a charge of 5x the item’s value.

• Management reserves the right to remove guests from the premises with no refund.


Quiet Hours & Visitors

• Quiet time: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (excludes scheduled events)

• Visitors must depart by 11:00 PM and be pre-approved by management.


Smoking & Vaping

Captain’s Castle is a non-smoking and non-vaping property indoors.

• Outdoor designated areas are available.

• A $500 cleaning fee will apply for any indoor violations.

Children

Well-behaved children are welcome, but must be under adult supervision at all times.

If you’re traveling with young kids, please check with us to ensure your room is a good fit.


Pet Policy

We welcome friendly dogs (in select rooms only) with:

• Prior approval

• A small pet fee

• Must be under control at all times

Contact us ahead of time to arrange pet-friendly accommodations.

All rooms feature:

• Private bathrooms

• Wi-Fi & Smart TVs

• Mini-fridges & Keurigs

• Plush towels & linens

• Climate control (AC/heat)

Please note:

Due to insurance restrictions, heat-generating appliances like hair dryers are not provided—feel free to bring your own.

• Ice available in the Main House

• Complimentary refreshments served in Captain’s Cove

• Guests are invited to explore historic areas of the property

• Paranormal tours are offered on select weekends!

Guest Responsibilities & Safety Notice

Captain’s Castle is a historic building and may present inherent risks.

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge:

 • You accept full responsibility for any damage caused by you or your guests.

• Damage to linens or carpets from vomit, blood, or other bodily fluids will result in full replacement costs.

• The Inn assumes no liability for injuries sustained on the property.


Chargebacks

• Unauthorized or unjustified chargebacks will be disputed.

• If found invalid, charges will be reinstated and a $50 administrative fee will be added.

• If payment is reversed and not resolved, a theft report will be filed with local authorities.


Lost & Found

• We do not ship lost items.

• Guests must arrange pickup.

• Items left unclaimed after 30 days will be considered abandoned and become property of the Inn.
